Mission

To create anti-hustle digital tools for creative online business owners and coaches who are riding a spicy nervous system.

The moody creative behind it all.

I'm Greg. I'm a cabaret artist & anti-hustle business strategist in the middle of a full midlife reinvention. I'm 56 and I just declared that the rest of my life belongs to me — the performer, the marketing weirdo, the anxious dude who spent decades hiding.

I’m obsessed with taking the things people feel the most shame about — their anxiety, their intensity, their unhinged-ness, their battle marks — and flip the narrative.

I built The Moody Creative because I couldn’t find business advice for people who are wired differently. So, I built The Moody Creative.

Guiding you past mental health stigma, creative blocks, and fear-based marketing.

I got my creative edge from my mom.

My mom's creativity wasn't a hobby. It was how she survived. Growing up in a house with domestic violence, she turned making things into her way of coping.

As a kid, I would watch my mom be fiercely creative. She could take something ugly and make it beautiful — in our broken down apartment, painting broken floor tiles black with orange swirls, filling the house with her singing, drawing our portraits like we were worth painting. And watching her do that taught me how to turn to creativity whenever life feels hard.

That's the heartbeat of The Moody Creative. The belief that whatever life hands you — the anxiety, the chaos, the battle marks — you can turn it into something worth building.

Here’s what The Moody Creative, Greg Halpen is all about:

I TEACH EDGY CREATIVE ONLINE BUSINESS OWNERS AND COACHES how to build counter culture brands that generate consistent profits without resorting to fear-based marketing tactics.

MY PLEDGE TO YOU is to be a present and available human when it comes to my self-paced workshops.

I DO THIS THROUGH AFFORDABLE SELF-PACED WORKSHOPS, MASTERCLASS AND GUIDES designed to help business owners prioritize their nervous system, make informed choices about fear-based marketing, and build a counter-culture brand that actually attracts your people who will buy.

The change I want to make is for the online business industry be a safe, inclusive space where there is room for everyone, while changing the rules of traditional marketing.

VALUES

Hope Marketing is warm and fuzzy. It also keeps people from telling the truth about their business, their struggles and their marketing. We begin every journey being a little unhinged. Say the uncomfortable thing first.

Be Unhinged (radical honesty)

Disrupt The Narrative

There's only so far a safe story can take you. And there is no shortage of shit we tell ourselves about building an online business. We prioritize questioning the default stories about success, marketing, mental health, and what it means to be “productive.”

Compassionate Irreverence

It's the intersection of marketing, mental health and creative freedom that no one is talking about. We break the rules with heart — dismantling toxic hustle culture, deceitful marketing tactics and mental health stigma. We take the important stuff seriously. The rules? Not so much.

Radical Accessibility

We removed the cost barrier here. Intentionally keeping prices low, avoiding upsell traps and offering full solutions instead of partial access. No high-ticket BS. Think of us as the Walmart version — but way cooler.

Unleash Your Creative Edge

Your creative voice was never meant to be stifled, minimized or made palatable. We choose originality, experimentation and self expression. expression.

Anti-Hustle Movement

The Hustle was a cool dance move in the 70s. Hustle-culture? Not so much. Sustainability happens in rhythm with boundaries and rest baked into the process. Anti-Hustle rejects always-on marketing, FOMO-driven launches and the pressure to constantly do the Hustle for the algorithm.
